- Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, tour itineraries, accommodation, transportation, activities, prices, schedules, availability, and other details may change.
Images and descriptions on the Website are intended to provide a general representation of the experience and may not always reflect the exact vehicle, accommodation, room, camp, route, guide, or activity provided on a particular departure.
A tour description does not constitute a guarantee that every listed location, activity, accommodation, restaurant, route, or service will be available at all times.
- Enquiries and Quotations
An enquiry submitted through the Website does not itself constitute a confirmed booking.
A quotation provided by Sahara Groupe may be subject to:
availability of accommodation and transportation;
availability of guides, drivers, camps, or local service providers;
changes requested by the customer;
seasonal conditions;
supplier pricing; and
confirmation of the travel dates and number of participants.
A booking becomes confirmed only after Sahara Groupe has expressly confirmed the booking and, where applicable, received the required payment or deposit.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a quotation is not a guarantee of availability.
- Booking Requirements
To make a booking, customers may be required to provide accurate information including:
full name;
contact details;
travel dates;
number of travelers;
accommodation details;
arrival and departure information;
passport or identification information where legitimately required;

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to Sahara Groupe is complete and accurate.
Customers must promptly notify us of any changes to their personal or travel information.
- Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed or quoted for the specific tour or service concerned. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices may be quoted in United States dollars (USD) or another currency specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
A price may include only the services expressly identified as included in the relevant tour description or quotation.
Items that are expressly excluded may include, depending on the tour:
international or domestic flights;
meals not specifically included;
drinks;
travel insurance;
tips and gratuities;
personal expenses;
optional activities;
entrance fees not identified as included;
additional accommodation;
additional transportation; and
other services not expressly included.
The payment amount, deposit requirements, payment deadline, and accepted payment methods will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or booking confirmation.
Where a payment deadline applies, failure to pay by that deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation.
- Booking Confirmation
A booking confirmation may include:
the confirmed itinerary;
travel dates;
number of travelers;
price;
services included and excluded;
accommodation details;
meeting or pickup arrangements;
payment information; and
any special conditions applicable to the booking.
Customers should carefully review the confirmation and notify Sahara Groupe immediately if any information is incorrect.
- Changes to an Itinerary
We aim to operate tours substantially in accordance with the confirmed itinerary.
However, itineraries may need to be changed because of circumstances including:
weather;
road conditions;
desert or mountain conditions;
traffic;
local events;
government restrictions;
safety considerations;
accommodation or supplier availability;
vehicle or equipment issues;
illness or emergencies; or
other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, Sahara Groupe will seek to provide an alternative arrangement of comparable nature.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes where necessary to protect the safety, security, or wellbeing of travelers or to ensure the practical operation of the tour.
- Transportation
Transportation may be provided using private or shared vehicles, including 4×4 vehicles, minibuses, cars, or other appropriate vehicles depending on the itinerary and number of participants.
Vehicle type may vary from the vehicle shown in promotional photographs.
Passengers must comply with reasonable instructions from drivers and guides and must use seat belts where provided.
Customers must inform us in advance about luggage requirements, mobility limitations, child seats, or other transportation-related needs.
- Accommodation
Where accommodation is included, Sahara Groupe may arrange hotels, riads, guesthouses, desert camps, or other accommodation appropriate to the itinerary.
Accommodation shown on the Website may be representative and may be replaced by another accommodation of similar standard where necessary.
Room configurations and availability are subject to the accommodation provider.
Special requests, including specific rooms, beds, views, or properties, are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
- Desert Activities and Camel Trekking
Certain Sahara Groupe tours include desert activities such as camel trekking, walking, off-road transportation, camping, and other outdoor experiences.
Customers acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks associated with outdoor and desert environments, including uneven terrain, heat, cold temperatures, sand, animals, remote locations, and changing weather conditions.
Participants must follow the safety instructions of Sahara Groupe’s guides, drivers, camel handlers, and other service providers.
Sahara Groupe may modify, shorten, suspend, or cancel an activity where continuing would reasonably present a safety risk.
Customers who have physical limitations, medical restrictions, mobility issues, pregnancy, or other conditions that may affect participation should seek appropriate professional medical advice before participating and should inform Sahara Groupe before booking.
- Age and Fitness Requirements
Certain tours or activities may have minimum age or fitness requirements. Any requirements specified on the relevant tour page or booking confirmation apply to that tour.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for minors participating in our services.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all members of their group are physically and otherwise capable of participating in the activities selected.
- Travel Documents and Immigration Requirements
Customers are responsible for obtaining and carrying all documents necessary for their journey, including:
valid passports;
visas where required;
entry permits;
vaccination or health documentation where legally required;
travel insurance documents; and
any other documentation required by the relevant authorities.
Sahara Groupe is not responsible for losses, missed services, or additional costs resulting from a customer’s failure to possess valid travel documents or satisfy applicable entry requirements.
- Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain bookings.
Customers should consider obtaining insurance covering, as appropriate:
medical expenses;
emergency evacuation;
trip cancellation;
trip interruption;
lost or damaged luggage;
personal liability; and
activities included in the customer’s itinerary.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, travel insurance is not included in the price of our tours.
- Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
provide accurate booking information;
arrive at agreed pickup points on time;
comply with reasonable instructions from guides and drivers;
respect local laws and customs;
respect other travelers and service providers;
take reasonable care of accommodation, vehicles, equipment, and property;
behave safely and responsibly; and
notify Sahara Groupe promptly of any problem affecting the delivery of the services.
Sahara Groupe may refuse or terminate participation where a customer’s conduct creates a safety risk, materially disrupts the tour, damages property, or seriously affects other travelers.
Any reasonable costs resulting from such conduct may be charged to the responsible customer, subject to applicable law.
- Health and Medical Conditions
Customers are responsible for assessing whether their planned activities are appropriate for their health and fitness.
Certain journeys involve long drives, walking, high temperatures, remote areas, desert conditions, mountain roads, camel trekking, and other physically demanding activities.
Customers should disclose relevant requirements or limitations to Sahara Groupe before booking so that reasonable arrangements can be considered.
Sahara Groupe does not provide medical advice and cannot guarantee that medical facilities will be immediately available during remote excursions.
- Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation requests must be submitted to Sahara Groupe in writing by email or another communication method accepted by us.
Any applicable cancellation charges, refunds, or deadlines will be governed by the cancellation terms communicated with the booking.
Where no specific cancellation schedule has been agreed in writing, cancellation and refund requests will be assessed based on:
the date the cancellation is received;
amounts already paid to third-party suppliers;
non-refundable accommodation or transportation arrangements;
administrative or booking costs; and
applicable law.
We recommend that customers obtain travel insurance covering cancellation and interruption.
- Changes Requested by the Customer
Requests to change travel dates, itinerary, accommodation, number of participants, pickup location, or other services are subject to availability.
Additional costs resulting from customer-requested changes may apply.
Where a requested change is not possible, the original booking terms may remain applicable.
- Cancellation or Changes by Sahara Groupe
Sahara Groupe may cancel or substantially modify a service where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or where continuation would be unsafe or impractical.
Examples include severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, civil disturbances, government measures, supplier failure, major transportation disruption, or other exceptional circumstances.
Where Sahara Groupe cancels a confirmed service for reasons within its reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an appropriate alternative or refund, subject to the terms of the applicable booking and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
- Force Majeure
Sahara Groupe will not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation:
natural disasters;
extreme weather;
floods;
fires;
epidemics or pandemics;
war;
terrorism;
civil unrest;
strikes;
government restrictions;
border closures;
road closures;
transportation disruptions;
supplier failures;
power or telecommunications failures; or
other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or overcome.
- Third-Party Suppliers
Some services may be provided by independent third parties, including:
hotels and riads;
desert camps;
local guides;
transportation providers;
camel handlers;
restaurants;
activity providers; and
other local service providers.
Sahara Groupe will use reasonable care when selecting and coordinating third-party suppliers.
Where a service is provided by an independent supplier, that supplier may have its own terms and conditions.
- Complaints
If a customer experiences a problem during a tour, they should notify Sahara Groupe or the relevant guide/driver as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address the issue while the service is being provided.
Complaints should be submitted as soon as possible and preferably during the trip.
Formal complaints may be sent to:
Email: info@saharagroupe.com
Telephone: +212 661-554312
We will review complaints fairly and in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the relevant booking.
- Liability
Sahara Groupe will provide its services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to applicable law, Sahara Groupe is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, injury, expense, or disruption resulting from:
the customer’s own acts or omissions;
failure to follow reasonable safety instructions;
inaccurate information supplied by the customer;
failure to possess required travel documents;
events beyond our reasonable control;
independent third-party services outside our reasonable control; or
circumstances that could not reasonably have been avoided despite appropriate care.
Where liability may legally be limited, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings, passports, money, electronic devices, luggage, and valuables.
Customers should not leave valuable items unattended in vehicles, accommodation, camps, or other locations.
Sahara Groupe is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings except where such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
